Adapt large, 8″ hydraulic high performance brakes to your Precedent, Tempo or Onward Club Car golf cart.
This pat pending brake setup adds buttery smooth, perfectly biased stopping power to the front wheels while retaining the reliable stock rear drum parking brake function.
This is a revolutionary truly functional big hydraulic brake adapter kit for your golf cart that are easy to mount and work like they were designed for a race car. They were designed by MACSBOOST, a motorsports R&D engineer that has decades of experience in the highest levels of motorsports. Brake pedal action is smoother than stock. Parking brake action works like stock. Braking force is radically increased. Safety is most importantly increased. If you have a fast cart this is the only kit you will ever want.
This Kit includes our revolutionary billet aluminum 4 way balancing, Pat Pending NO-Drill master cylinder mount. Also included are two proprietary self-aligning, easy to weld on front caliper brackets that adapt to different axle diameters for different stock spindles or aftermarket lift kits. Most installations can be easily welded without further adaptation. 2,4,6+ passenger carts are compatible. Aftermarket stretch kits are compatible. A simple 100Amp flux core welder is all that is needed.
Also needed but NOT included are the rotors, calipers, master cylinders, hoses, pads and hardware. These parts are readily available and cost an estimated $250 beyond our kit. A single brake installation should cost around $600 for one cart using new off the shelf components. Brake calipers are a fixed mount, two piston top load, race car style.
While every effort has been made to make this kit as universal as possible. Due to the vast nature and incredibly diverse variety of carts, complete compatibility is not guaranteed for every cart. Some slight modifications (grinding, drilling, etc) may be necessary.
